UK audio manufacturer Roksan has revealed its next generation family of audio equipment, the Attessa range, which consists of a streaming amplifier, integrated amplifier, turntable and CD transport.
Now a brand under the Monitor Audio umbrella, Roksan’s new Attessa range draws on nearly four decades of audio experience and combines it with a complementary and ergonomic design which brings together quality materials and useful features such as a haptic, multifunction dial and the comprehensive MaestroUnite control app.
Attessa Integrated Amplifier
The comprehensive array of inputs available on the new Attessa integrated amplifier includes a phono stage for added convenience, digital inputs which are routed to a high-performance Burr Brown 24bit/192kHz DAC and aptX Bluetooth for connecting to compatible devices such as tablets and smart phones.
Attessa Streaming Amplifier
The streaming amplifier takes the same level of connectivity and high quality components as the integrated amp, including the MQA and FLAC file compatible Burr Brown DAC, and matches them with the highly regarded multi room streaming ecosystem, BluOS. Therefore, Roksan’s new streaming amplifier is compatible with more than 20 of the world’s leading streaming services and can stream wirelessly to as many as 64 zones. Wireless connectivity is simple and stable thanks to on-board aptX Bluetooth connectivity.
Power output is rated at 130W per channel and comes courtesy of a Roksan Caspian-derived toroidal transformer with parallel output arrangement, while the preamplifier architecture is fully balanced with a multi-layer signal path.
Attessa CD Transport
Roksan has made sure that the huge number of listeners with music libraries that still have significant proportions of CDs is catered for and the CD Transport device connects via digital coaxial to either of the new Attessa amplifiers and transmits the digital audio information from the disc to the high-performance DAC. In addition, the UK designed custom firmware on board the disc transport ensures error-free, accurate playback.
The new MaestroUnite app provides control and, for ease of use, will see the Attessa amp and CD combo as a single system once they have been set up.
Finally, the new UK developed and built turntable comes complete with a unipivot tonearm, a high-quality pre-fitted Roksan Dana cartridge and switchable phono stage for compatibility with just about any amplifier.
The chassis takes its design cues from Roksan’s renowned Xerxes turntable, with the feet isolating the turntable from external vibration, and the high-mass weighted glass platter with a bonded aluminium edge dampener exemplifying the premium construction.
The Attessa Streaming Amplifier, integrated amplifier and CD transport are available in Silver or Black, while the Attessa Turntable comes in Satin White or Satin Black.
The range will retail for the following:
Attessa Turntable – RRP £995
Attessa Streaming Amplifier – RRP £1,495
Attessa Integrated Amplifier – RRP £995
Attessa CD Transport – RRP £495
