Philips adds 3 new LCD projectors to NeoPix range

Philips presents portable projection partners

by Andy Bassett

Three new portable and affordable LCD home projectors are joining the Philips NeoPix range - the Easy 2+, Prime 2 and Ultra 2.

Capitalising on the success of the previous models, the new additions are all upgrades denoted with a nice clear and concise ‘2’ added to the existing Easy, Prime and Ultra NeoPix model names.

The NeoPix Easy 2+ remains the most affordable of the new versions and improves on its predecessor by doubling the brightness with its 720p resolution. Meanwhile, the NeoPix Prime 2 and Ultra 2 get smart image correction which includes 4-corner correction, digital zoom and projector settings which appear at the top of all content so as to allow placement of the image wherever you want it in the room.

The NeoPix Easy 2+ can project an image up to 65-inches and provides a wide range of connection options to access content including HDMI, USB and MicroSD. Once a USB stick or hard drive has been connected, the built-in media player will play movies in True HD 720p as well as display images and playback music.

The 16:9 image benefits from advanced electronic keystone correction technology for dealing with projection angles and varying environments, and in built in stereo speakers provide sound wherever you are. A 3.5mm audio jack allows external speakers to be added to boost the volume if required.
