Peter Jackson to direct Doctor Who
Now that The Hobbit is finally finished it looks like Peter Jackson can finally fulfil one of his other ambitions.
He's been a fan of Doctor Who since childhood and has made no secret of his desire to direct an episode, and if this new video on his Facebook page is to believed, it looks as though show runner Steven Moffat has granted his wish. It'll be interesting to see if Jackson can direct something that doesn't cost hundreds of millions of dollars and last three hours. Perhaps it will be a chance to get his low-budget mojo back and start making the smaller anarchic horror films that he was originally famous for before getting lost in Middle Earth.
