Panasonic announce 2014 entry-level LED TV Range
As well as the higher ranking TVs announced at their European Convention, Panasonic took the wraps of their entry-level sets.
There will be three ranges comprising the AS600, AS500 and A400 series, which offer processing technology including 100Hz Back Light Blinking (BLB) and the AS600 also boasts a Dual Core CPU to boost its Smart TV powers.

My Stream, available in the AS600 series, provides personalised content for you and your family members, aggregated from a variety of sources. You have access to films and TV shows from cable, terrestrial broadcast, and Video on Demand (VOD) sources based on your viewing preferences, although it’s not 100% clear which VOD services will support it.

Recorded content, home movies, family photos, web pages, and online videos are also included in the my Stream interface.

The VIERA AS600 and AS500 are designed and built to ensure ease of use. The My Home Screen, VIERA’s start-up screen, can be personalised to the individual preferences of each family member. There are now additional options for downloadable home screens, including screens themed around sports (football), gaming, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

The AS500 and AS600 series both feature integrated Wi-Fi and DLNA capability and access to a number of Internet Apps.

The AS600, A400 and AS500 models will be available in screen sizes between 32-inches (80 cm) and 50-inches (126 cm). It should be noted that the 32-inch and 24-inch versions of the AS500 will be HD Ready (720p) only, whilst the 32” AS4000 also has the lower resolution.

The AS600 is available in black with a silver strip, whilst the AS500 and A400 come in black with very narrow bezels.
