Optoma is continuing to extend its portfolio away from the home projection market to include audio products.
Namely, they have just announced their new NuForce STA120 stereo power amp, which sports a sleek design and compact dimensions.
The STA120 uses ‘high quality’ class-D amplifiers, enclosed in an anodised aluminium casing consistent with the NuForce range. The amp, they say – and they would, is an ideal partner for the DAC80 digital pre amp and WDC200 wireless DAC. In addition, the STA120 can also be used for surround sound and audio distribution set-ups.
Justin Halls, Optoma’s Head of Product Marketing, said: “We are building on NuForce’s reputation of excellent build quality, superior audio performance and clean, compact and sleek design. The highly efficient design also means the STA120 is better for the environment and will ultimately cost less to the consumer.”
The STA120 will be available in both black and silver with pricing to be confirmed.
