Nokia updates entry-level Windows Phone to Lumia 525
Nokia Singapore has announced a successor to its best selling Windows Phone in the new Lumia 525, with other territories surely set to follow.
It's not a huge upgrade on the Lumia 520 but more RAM and a better processor should help it compete. The Lumia 525 retains the same 4-inch screen, with a 800 x 480 pixel resolution, as well as keeping the 5MP camera that can shoot video at 720p.

The 525 will be equipped with a Qulacomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1Ghz, backed up by 1GB of RAM.

We await official word from Nokia UK on pricing but it's certain to be very competitive. Nokia Singapore are advertising a cost of 249 Singapore Dollars, which translates to about 125GBP. Like its predecessor, the Lumia 525 is blessed with interchangeable covers with launch options listed as, "dazzling orange, radiant yellow and luminous white," so they are quite dazzling.

The Lumia 525 is fitted with 8GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 64GB by Micro SD Card but there's also handy 7GB of cloud storage available through 'SkyDrive'
