    New Suicide Squad Trailer
Suicide Squad has a new trailer and it looks as though the Deadpool effect has started.
After the R-rated Marvel spin-off took over $750 million at the box office it was only a matter of time before other studios started to take note. Although the early trailers for Suicide Squad showed a more serious film that was similar in tone to Man of Steel and Batman v Superman, albeit with a darker sense of humour, the latest trailer is far more irreverent and comedic.

There have apparently been reshoots to add more overt comedy to the film, which might not be a bad thing as the DC cinematic universe could use a few laughs. It also looks as though we will be getting more of Ben Affleck's Batman than we first thought, which is equally good news as he was easily the best thing in Batman v Superman.

The new trailer gives us a good look at the entire gang, with Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn remaining the stand-out character and Jared Leto's take on the Joker appearing to be quite unique. As long as the film remains true to itself and doesn't just try and copy Deadpool, then it should be one of the better comic book adaptations in a superhero-packed year.

Suicide Squad opens on the 5th of August.
