First introduced in 2000, the Bronze Series of loudspeakers from UK sound system specialist Monitor Audio has undergone an update to its 6th generation.
Incorporating a complete upgrade in both performance and build quality, the company says the overhaul has created “Monitor Audio’s best Bronze Series yet.”
The cabinet has undergone a redesign to adopt a modern profile and now features a separately contrasted baffle. There is a range of contemporary finishes including black or white vinyl and walnut or urban grey wood finishes, so they should suit most user environments.
Also new are the drivers based on Damped Concentric Mode (DCM) technology which have been engineered to optimise the audio experience. They also pair with the tweeter’s carefully designed Uniform Dispersion (UD) Waveguide to integrate seamlessly into the architecture of the baffle.
The Bronze range has garnered numerous awards since its release twenty years ago and the latest 6th generation will build upon the already installed user base of thousands worldwide.
Monitor Audio’s Technical Director, Michael Hedges, said, ‘I am truly proud of what we have managed to achieve with the 6th generation of our Bronze Series. The performance and build quality are beyond what one would normally expect at this price point and I am certain that our customers will love them.’
