Marantz has confirmed their 9-channel equipped SR6011 has landed on British soil.
Packed with all the latest audio and video technologies, the Marantz SR6011 has Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatibility and can be setup in a 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 speaker configuration. The SR6011 features high grade audio components; whilst the internal circuits further enhance audio quality by handling all signals via Marantz's own HDAMs (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) in Current Feedback topology before passing them on to the power stage to fire up the connected speakers. The amplifier section delivers 9x 185 Watts of output and features Audyssey MultEQ XT32 to tailor output to any individual listening room.
The SR6011 also features an advanced video section that's fully compatible with the latest HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2 specifications, with 4K Ultra HD 60Hz video, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, High Dynamic Range (HDR), 21:9 video, 3D, and BT.2020 pass-through support on each of the 8 HDMI inputs.
Full wireless connectivity is provided by both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, with dual antennas that should help ensure robust signal transmission and reception. Once connected, music can easily be streamed through AirPlay, Spotify Connect or local network storage drives, as well as from over 10,000 Internet Radio stations. High resolution audio formats and playback are also fully supported. To round up the flexibility, an 11.2 channel pre-out section, the RS232 port, IP control and support for Crestron Connected all contribute to the package.
The new Marantz SR6011 will be available in September in black or silver-gold colour finishes with pricing set at £999.00.
