Picking up the baton after the PurePlay Z3 earphones, Lypertek launches its latest high value True Wireless earphones, the SoundFree S20.
Taking many of its cues from the PurePlay Z3 (previously known as the TEVI) the SoundFree S20 is tuned to deliver a powerful, clear and engaging sound from its 6mm Neodymium dynamic drivers.
And while an impressive audio performance is Lypertek’s goal, the company has also made sure that the comfort side of the wearing experience has not been forgotten. Moreover, by also prioritising a secure fit based on the contours of the ear, a high degree of passive noise isolation is a factor, and the ergonomic design with its minimal look and IPX5 rating means the SoundFree S20 earphones are suitable for a wide range of activities from travel, sports, home-listening and fitness use.
To make life easier once the earphones are inserted and to make interaction with others simple, a built in ambient sound mode can easily be activated with three clicks of the specially designed multi-function button. In a first for true wireless headphones, according to Lypertek, this button is innovatively positioned to ensure that accidental button pushes are avoided and when operated there is no accompanying discomfort from the pressing action.
As well as activating the ambient sound mode, the multi-function button can also be used to play/pause, skip tracks, adjust volume, answer calls and activate voice assistance.
Pairing the SoundFree S20s with a chosen device is a straightforward, single-step procedure and the earphones are ready to connect to any Bluetooth audio device as soon as their charging case has been opened. They’ll automatically be ready to use with the last paired device within seconds of activating.
The charging carry case itself has a textured finish which avoids the risk of fingerprint markings and can slip easily into a pocket. Once fully charged, the SoundFree S20 can support an eight hour listening session and a further 40 hours is supplied by the case which can deliver 2 hours of playback from a 15 minute boost via fast charge technology. Connection options give a choice of wired USB-C or wireless charging.
