Loewe Bild 9 OLED 4K HDR TV launched in UK

Dolby Vision with a designer look

Loewe has today (3rd May 2017) launch the Bild 9 Ultra HD 4K OLED TV.
The Bild 9 was designed by Bodo Sperlein, a London based design consultancy who have worked for Swarovski, Nikkon and Lladro, in the past, and the TV certainly sports distinctive looks.

The TV comes in two screen sizes – 65- and 55-inches and is a mere 7mm in depth. The Bild 9 is Art Deco inspired with a sculptural solid steel frame in either matte gold or a more classic graphite and features a high-quality fabric cover, hiding the connections and cables at the back for a neat and minimal 360 degree design.

The Bild 9 supports both Dolby Vision and HDR 10 High Dynamic Range (HDR) video and the triangular design also conceals a 120W soundbar that appears as the TV is powered on.

The user interface looks fairly straightforward with the typical Loewe launcher screen featuring icons for TV channels, apps, recordings and external sources. It is also compatible with the Loewe app which can be downloaded for your smartphone or tablet. The app can change channels, summon background information on current viewing or select a programme guide. It is also possible to access Tidal and streaming services such as Amazon Video

The 55-inch will set you back £6,990 while the 65-inch is priced at £7,990.
