Billed as a whole package, the new 400 series turntables from Lenco are available in a variety of finishes and come with four built-in speakers, an Audio-Technica cartridge, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB player with direct encoder.
Though now Dutch owned, Lenco’s Swiss heritage sees the 400 range of turntables available in a number of home décor friendly finishes. The LS-410 model comes in a walnut wood finish, while the LS-430 is available in black or brown imitation leather and the LS-440 is finished in either a blue/beige or grey fabric.
Ideally suited for a plug and play approach to instantly enjoying vinyl, and more besides, the 400 series of belt-driven turntables each include four built-in speakers in a two x 15 watt and two x 10 watt configuration. The 400 series models also come equipped with a high-quality Audio-Technica moving magnet cartridge and thus offers a quick setup with no additional speakers, wires or amplifier required.
Simplicity notwithstanding, the rear RCA outputs allow for connection to existing speakers or Hi-Fi setup at home, and the included preamplifier on every model can be switched on and off as desired.
With Bluetooth 5.0 on board, it is also possible to stream music directly to the speakers from a smartphone or tablet, whilst the included USB port allows users to convert their vinyl record collection into digital audio formats, making the digitising of record collections easier than ever before.
The adjustable speed options of 33 and 45 rpm can accommodate both singles and LPs and the included start-stop button lets users stop the disc at any time and restart it where they left off.
The 430 and 440 turntables are also equipped with pitch control, making it possible to manually adjust the playback speed whilst tone control means the high and low tones can be adjusted as preferred.
The 400 range is available from Gear4Music and the Lenco UK Website priced at £219.99 for the walnut finished LS-410, £239.99 for the LS-430 imitation leather models and £249.99 for the fabric clad LS-440 and all models include a dust cover. Amazon UK is also expected to stock towards the end of February.
