Leema Acoustics offers factory shipping for locked down customers

Leema Acoustics has announced a new initiative that will see customers' orders fulfilled by direct-shipping from their factory.

From today, Wales based audio electronics firm Leema Acoustics will cater for orders from new and existing customers alike by shipping out telephone and online orders placed via its UK dealer network directly to the client from its Welsh factory.

Leema joins other AV companies such as Cyrus Audio and Melco in altering their customer facing operations to adjust for the current coronavirus lockdown conditions.

Traditional ‘bricks and mortar’ retail establishments that are deemed non essential have been closed down for the foreseeable future, thus effectively forcing manufacturers, retailers and distributors to come up with new ways of working. As consumers adjust their purchasing priorities, it’s even more important for consumer electronics companies to stimulate interest in products and encourage the shopping and purchasing experience via new initiatives.

So, Leema has coordinated with its UK dealer outlets to continue to provide a high standard of support for its customers. Regardless of the store closures many of Leema’s retail partners are able to answer queries, offer advice and take orders.

To overcome the issue of dwindling stock at dealers, the company will realise orders by hand building the hardware in question at its Welsh factory before shipping directly to the client. Throughout the process, the retail partner will remain the point of contact.

In place for the duration of the lockdown period, the initiative will apply to all products in Leema’s range and covers CD players, DACs, integrated and power amps, pre-amplifiers, music streamers and phono stages in the company’s popular half-width Elements range and flagship Constellation series.

UK customers looking for information, advice, or assistance on placing an order are invited to contact Leema Acoustics’ UK distributor, MIAN Audio Distribution, to find out more.

Have any AVForums members taken advantage of the new home demo or delivery options available from certain AV manufacturers and their retailers? If so, why not post in the discussion thread to let everyone know what the experience was like?
