Klipsch launches The One II and The Three II wireless speakers in UK
Renowned US speaker designer, Klipsch are launching two Heritage series stereo wireless speakers in the UK, both sporting the company’s’ mid-century modern design’, the prophetically named, The One II and The Three II.
Both speakers are available in black or walnut and take their design from the 1950s inspired early models the company produced under its founder Paul Klipsch and the company reckons that combining the retro aesthetic with modern technology gives the speakers a design unlike any other in the field. The wrapped speakers are finished in a real wood veneer and add to the overall tactile feel of a retro device with spun copper switches and knobs.
Under the hood, The One II and The Three II both are based around a 2.1 bi-amplified driver array which features a brace of 57mm full range drivers and a 114mm woofer, which is swapped for a 133mm long throw woofer in The Three II.

The larger Three II speaker also houses dual opposed bass radiators to add to the overall size of the audio experience and, of course, the enclosure.

Connectivity on both models is provided by a 3.5mm audio input to enable the addition of older audio devices such as CD players or portable music devices, and Bluetooth 4.0 allows the wireless connection of compatible devices such as smartphones, laptops and tablets.

The Three II adds a MM (moving magnet) phono pre-amp for turntable fans and a USB type B audio input is available should you want to plug in your computer as a sound source.
The Three II has also been provided with 192kHz / 24 bit decoding meaning it can deal with Hi-Res audio tracks.
