  • Sony has announced the European pricing and availability details for the Sony 77” BRAVIA OLED A1 4K HDR TV at IFA 2017.
The highly-acclaimed, by us, A1 OLED TV from Sony – previously offered in 55” and 65” – is now available for pre-order with deliveries expected late September.

The Sony BRAVIA OLED A1 4K HDR TV delivers a viewing experience with the superior picture quality and absolute black levels of OLED enhanced by the power of Sony’s 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme. The TVs support HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision (to be added via firmware update by the end of the year) for viewing the growing library of HDR content.

Like the 55” and 65” models, the 77” BRAVIA OLED A1 features the world’s first Acoustic Surface technology, making the screen the speaker, and an edge-to-edge stand-less form factor.

The BRAVIA OLED A1 4K HDR TVs are powered by Android TV which brings movies, TV shows and thousands of apps into the home, making it easy to watch broadcast and cable TV, download entertainment, and use as a gaming device. TV lovers can enjoy hit shows and movies on Google Play Movies & TV, Netflix, Amazon Video, YouTube, and others.

In other news, customers who purchase the new 77” BRAVIA OLED A1 TV or any other BRAVIA 2017 Android TV will receive a Google Play Bundle. Starting this autumn users will receive a 3-month Google Play Music access, a special booster pack from EA’s Real Racing 3, and will be able to choose one 4K-UHD movie from a blockbuster selection including Spider-Man: Homecoming from Google Play Movies & TV.
