  • Hisense has announced their follow-up to the XT910 with a new M7000 ‘ULED’ 4K HDR TV now available, from as little as £799
As well as being equipped with ULED – Hisense’s name for their proprietary LED technologies - the new M7000 also boasts 4K, High Dynamic Range (HDR), local dimming and smart functionality.

Sticking to the brand’s principles of providing high performance at an affordable price point, the M7000 retails for £799 for the 55inch and £1,199 for the 65inch, which is certainly competitive. Protected by 17 international patents, Hisense claims ULED offers enhanced colour, contrast, definition and motion by combining ‘advanced’ hardware and software, although the previous incarnations had some issues that needed ironing out. The backlight control uses Local Dimming and the panel is said to have an ‘extremely wide’ colour gamut, although they haven’t gone in to specifics.

The M7000 packs a quad core processor and the Hisense smart platform allows you access to BBC iPlayer, Amazon Video and 4K Netflix. There’s also a in web browser – for what they’re worth - and integration with your other devices, with Anyview Cast and Anyview Stream letting you share content from your smartphone, tablet or computer onto the big screen.

It’s available now from certain retailers.
