Galaxy S5 teaser hints at new Security and Fitness Features
Samsung has issued a few more clues as to the direction of the Galaxy S5 by revealing a new set of icons ahead of its launch at MWC 2104.
The theme seems to be everything to the power of 5 and the icons would suggest that the rumoured overhaul of the TouchWiz UI is on.
There are no gradients to the colours and the general look is more stripped back, which is in keeping with Samsung’s promise to take the S5 back to basics, following the slightly muted response with which the S4 was met.
The dedicated icon for Privacy would hint that the S5 will introduce some new security features – perhaps as a measure to make it more attractive to business users – and the green-coded Fitness motif might just be a tie-in with the Galaxy Gear 2, also set to take its bow at MWC 2014.
But, as a quote on the Samsung Tomorrow site reads:
“Prediction is very difficult, especially if it's about the future.”
