Elipson Audio has announced the expansion of its Connected range with the introduction of the new Connect 250 wireless streaming amplifier.

French audio manufacturer Elipson, perhaps best known for its eye catching, boundary pushing speakers designs, also includes turntables and home audio products in its portfolio . Added to this is the Connect 250, a wireless streaming amplifier which will be a part of the company’s focus on connected audio for both domestic and commercial applications going forward into 2021.

The Connect 250 is a compact class D amplifier which delivers an output of 2x 50 watts and uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 compatibility for its 44.1kHz/24bit streaming capabilities from any platform or storage media.

Multiroom audio in up to 10 locations is possible (depending upon network performance) and a number of features make the Connect 250 suitable for custom installations or use in commercial premises such as bars, restaurants or gyms. These include mounting brackets, an included remote control and infrared cable for where line-of-sight is not viable and protective covers on the rear mounted ports to allow installation in damp environments.

An accompanying app for both Android and iOS will allow separate naming of each device that appears on a network.
