Cleer Audio Enduro 100 headphone features 4 day battery life
Cleer Audio follows up their FLOW headphone released a couple of months ago with the Enduro 100 which, as the name unfussily alludes to, has a massive battery life.
While most listeners will be happy to get through a day of travelling, working, relaxing or playing with just enough battery life left to get to an overnight charge, the Cleer Audio Enduro 100 takes this to the next level.

Perhaps targeting the untapped astronaut and polar explorer market, Cleer’s new headphone has enough juice for 100 hours of non stop listening - a market first, the company claims - making it ideal for those on short trips away from the everyday comforts of life.

It should be noted that this prodigious battery life does come at the expense of battery draining noise cancellation though and the use of power efficient Bluetooth 5.0 and a pause feature that kicks in as the listener removes the headphone contributes to the overall power streamlining.

Although Cleer have not indicated how long the headphone takes to fully recharge, they do note that a 5 minute boost via USB-C will provide an hour of playback. An overnight recharge should, therefore, get the listener somewhere close to a full battery.

The Enduro 100 supports AAC and Qualcomm’s aptX HD low latency so the headphone can easily be used for Hi-Res audio playback and video watching with improved audio-video synchronisation.

The headphone is compatible Google Fast Pair 2.0 which means that as soon as it is powered on, it sends a pairing request that appears almost instantly on a smartphone's screen, thus removing the need to scramble about in the phone’s Bluetooth settings.

As with their FLOW predecessors, the Enduro 100 use their patented 40mm Ironless drivers which forgo the usual single magnet approach and instead uses a stack of rare earth magnets which allows for even confinement of the magnetic flux within the driver. Cleer claims this leads to a more balanced and dynamic sound that has lower distortion, no matter the listening volume.

The Enduro 100 will be available in Stingray Grey and Coronado Sand from Harrods in the UK from early September priced at £169.99 and also in the US for $179.99.
