  • Audio specialist Audio-Technica is showcasing its range of headphones and turntables at IFA 2016.
Leading the line-up is the ATH-MSR7NC active noise-cancelling headphone designed for audiophiles who don’t want to compromise on sonic performance but still demand effective noise-cancellation for when they travel.

A wired version, the ATH-MSR7, delivers studio sound borne from pro-grade audio technology. For those looking for a wireless option, the on-ear ATH-SR5BT boasts Bluetooth for wireless streaming of music from a smartphone or tablet while a more affordable sub £100 wired model, the ATH-SR5 offering High-Resolution Audio compatibility is also on show. These two affordable models are available in black and while colour options, promise superior sound quality, with the ATH-SR5BT offering Bluetooth wireless capabilities.

Audio-Technica is also presenting a range of turntables - including the direct-drive AT-LP5 and the Bluetooth-enabled AT-LP60BT - both proving top quality sound can still be truly affordable. We were very impressed with the AT-LP5 when it was in for review but it didn't have the Bluetooth capability that the LP60BT boasts, allowing you to enjoy the sounds of vinyl wirelessly. With music fans increasingly moving towards wireless sound systems, this fully-automatic belt-driven turntable can be part of a wireless home audio set up easily connecting to Bluetooth-enabled speakers, headphones and stereo receivers.
