We've been expecting a longer version of X-Men: Days of Future Past since director Bryan Singer first mentioned cutting Rogue out of the theatrical release.
Now our suspicions have been confirmed with the announcement that X-Men: Days of Future Past - Rogue Cut will be released on Blu-ray on the 13th of July. There has been a trend recently for the Blu-ray release of films to include an extended version along with the theatrical cut but double-dips have become quite rare. So how do you feel about being asked to buy X-Men: Days of Future Past again just to get the extra 10-minutes of Rogue and 7-minutes of deleted scenes? After all couldn't the extended cut have been included with the original Blu-ray release? And if Twentieth Century Fox insist on making us double-dip couldn't they at least include another reason to buy the disc such as a Dolby Atmos soundtrack?
