I have an external LaCie Lightscribe DVD writer connected to my iMac. When I try to write an audio CD it seems to be writing it and when I look at the disk it shows that something has been written to it. However when I try to play the disk in a normal CD player it is not recognised It will play in a PC or AppleMac. I have used the program that came with the drive Toast 9 Light and iTunes, both write to disk but will not play on an ordinary CD player. If I write toa CD in the Imac's own writer, then no problems. I have noticed that when writting to a CD on the LaCie, it writes very much quicker then the internal writer i.e. 1min 30 secs to 4mins 30secs.
Any ideas on what might be going on?

      Regards
