Marantz AV 10 Processor and AMP 10 Amplifier Review

Marantz states that its new AV 10 processor and AMP 10 amplifier represent the pinnacle of the brand’s AV history. Given Marantz’s record of producing superb home cinema products, that’s quite a claim. Let’s see if it’s justified.
Finally, Emotiva’s slimline BasX MC1 home cinema processor reaches our shores. It does exactly what it says on the tin, which is decoding up to 13.2 audio channels. This is a good fit for those upgrading to separates in their AV room, but does the sound match up to the bold ‘audiophile’ claims of the maker?
Lyngdorf re-confirms HDMI 2.1 upgrades for MP-40 and P100 AVPs

The 8K-ready HDMI 2.1 upgrades from Lyngdorf were initially due back in 2021 but, after a few delays, the two multi-channel processors will finally get the extra benefits from March.

Anthem launches latest AV receivers, processors and amplifiers

Anthem has announced the newest versions of its high-end multichannel home theatre and music audio hardware with the launch of the new MRX 540, MRX 740 and MRX 1140 AV Receivers, the AVM 70 and AVM 90 AV Processors and three GEN2 power amplifiers in the form of the MCA 225, MCA 325 and MCA 525 amps.
McIntosh launches MX100 AV processor and MI347 power amp

McIntosh’s busy release schedule for 2020 continues with something for home cinema enthusiasts as it unveils the all digital MX100 AV processor and MI347 7-channel power amplifier.
The CX-A5200 is a replacement for the long-running CX-A5100 processor and adds some better audio components and also changes some of the inputs available. The big updates are new DACs and a new power transformer, as well as the addition of Surround:AI to the Cinema DSP HD3 processing for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immersive audio formats.
