Hi

I have just brought the item in the title.

My idea is to use this for sky+ and also get normal RF TV signal from the aerial on the chimney.

Would this work?

I will use both sky cables for the “sat1 and sat2” and want to use the TV for the standard TV aerial.

If it will work how do i connect it? There is only 2 inputs on the back of the plate, it says sat2 input & triplexed input.

How will this work?

Plate Spec..

Screened quadplexed outlet

Ideal for Sky™ applications with low loss, minimal ingress and negligible module cross talk

• SAT1, SAT2, TV & FM/DAB outlets
• Low insertion loss
• Excellent matching and isolation
• Screened to EN 50083-2: >65dB to 1 GHz and >55dB to 2.2GHz
• Compact screened housings
• Easy cable connections and access
• For 1 mm cable (PF100, H109F, QF100, etc.)
• Requires 35mm mounting box

Dave's right, although from what you've described you only need the combining side and not the re-distribution side.

You need a combiner or 'Triplexer' at the aerial which will combine the three services together to be feed down one cable for that plate to split them back out again.

You could actually use another of those plates up in the but back-to-front. Connect the TV, FM and one of the SAT's into it on the front and take the output on the back down to the lead at the other end.
