Icon release the heartfelt comedy DOG DAYS on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital Download on 3 December 2018.
Get ready to unleash the love. Dog Days is the hilarious and heartfelt comedy that kids and families will go crazy for this Christmas. Produced by LD Entertainment (Jackie, The Zookeeper's Wife) the fun flick features an all-star cast alongside a parade of adorable pooches.
Set in sunny Los Angeles, we follow the lives of multiple dog owners and their beloved fluffy pals. When these human and canine paths start to intertwine, their lives begin changing in ways they never expected...
Elizabeth (Nina Dobrev, The Vampire Diaries), a news anchor in her 30's, goes through a bad break up, but oddly it seems to be her dog Sam that becomes depressed. Elizabeth is more concerned with ex-athlete Jimmy Johnston (Tone Bell). Tara (Vanessa Hudgens, High School Musical), a college graduate in her 20's, is fed up with her not-so-temporary coffee shop job. The only perk is checking out the hot vet who works across the street. Dax (Adam Pally, Dirty Grandpa), a bass guitarist in a one-hit-wonder band, seems to be failing at life. When his sister Ruth goes into labour with twins, she forces Dax to take care of her large, mischievous dog Charlie. Walter, a grumpy man in his 70's, only has love left for his pudgy pug Mabel. When Walter has a mild heart attack, Mabel runs off. Pizza delivery boy Tyler (Finn Wolfhard, Stranger Things), comes to his aid in getting her back. Kurt and Grace (Eva Longoria, Desperate Housewives), an adorable married couple, adopt a 5-year old girl Amelia. They do their best to make everything comfortable for her, but she doesn't seem to be connecting with them. One day in the park, a little dog comes running up to Amelia and she captivated. Kurt and Amelia are thrilled to see Amelia finally engaged but they don't yet know that the dog is Mabel...
Dog Days, stories of everyday people and their best friends are woven together and told in a way that will make dog lovers laugh, cry, and swoon over the furry cuteness.
