Seems like black is the most popular at the mo. How long before we get a bogey green one?

My missus got me the 3DS for £90.

MarioKart 7 and Mario 3D £30 for the two.

All from Sainsburys using coupons to get the price down.

Just got the white DS, mario 3d and mario kart. Would have preferred the black, but the offer of the white console plus mario for £129 was too good to resist.

I must say I'm really really impressed with this and the 3d works really well for me. The white looks great and I'm loving the games - I can't believe people moan about the graphics.

I'm just tweaking with the settings at the moment to try and get some more play time. At stock settings the battery life has been poor at best.

    Chuffed.

I got one recently for my nephew but he's not allowed it atm so it will be staying here for a while. The 3D is quite good. I've downloaded the Resident Evil and Metal Gear demos from the Nintendo shop but not tried them yet. I want to try the Zelda game. I've never really played that series besides a couple of hours on Windwaker which did seem good.

I bought the blue one at launch where it sat in a box hardly used for almost a year. Seen the trade in offer for Vita and thought I would do it, the place I trade with were only offering €25 less for the DsiXL so I sold my daughters XL and "gave" her the 3DS.

Now I have discovered what a lovely little device it actually is and I started buying games for it. MK7 and Mario 3D land are recent arrivals.

I've had a few plays on Mario 3D Land and bought my nephew Junior Classic Games (disappointing, this is stuff you get on a smartphone for free) and tried a few of the current demos (Mario Olympic Games, Resident Evil). Not too impressed with the system at the moment. The main annoyance: the screen is tiny. I'm so used to my SGS2 I just can't get over how small the 3DS screen is. I think it needs to be at least 4".
Mario 3D Land gets raving reviews. I've completed the first 2 worlds and I'm just not finding it that much fun. My nephew is 7 and gets bored with it pretty quickly. It's okay but the 2D ones were better, especially when you can't judge foreground and background distances in 3D.

I do want to try Ocarina of Time, but the tiny screen is putting me off. It's not immersive.
3D is as annoying as ever. It makes my eyes ache after and it's the same reason I won't watch 3D movies.

I'm still enjoying most of the games, but I have turned off the 3D now. I find it doesn't add anything to the game and even the slightest movement of the console looses the effect.

Bought Mario Kart 7 from Comet for £20 a few days ago. It's good fun! It would be so much fun in multiplayer if you had two DSs.

The kids can play it but I still think it should've had a short tutorial to begin. It doesn't tell you what the controls are (nobody reads manuals to get started anymore surely) such as skidding can give you a boost, you can fire backwards etc I've never played Mario Kart before either so I couldn't help them much.

Agree with Mario Kart being fun. It's going to take something special for me to remove it from the console.

Why should it have a short tutorial for the lazy people who can't be bothered to read the manual :p

Tutorials suck! I hate the Wii games with them as they make it very difficult to skip them. I already know how to play the game so make it optional!
