Ok, just ordered a 250gb slim from shopto for £159 (plus topcashback).

Now I just need the connect, are game still doing this for £65?

Also what's the best (manly) fitness game, leaning towards the UFC fitness one. Any good?

Its all right if you got a high ceiling and a big floor space. 8ft square is adequate!

Sony just cut the price of the ps3 by £45, do you think there may be a 360 price drop aswell?

That Tesco deal is still a tenner cheaper if it hasn't expired, plus there is quidco. I would have bought it but my xbox is running fine.

Would this be the best deal around just now? Looking to pick one up again after just having my ps3 for the past year and so far this is the best I can see.

Tesco were still handing out £10 discount vouchers through twitter yesterday and with quidco I still think that they are cheaper. Always best to check HotUkDeals first.

    4gb 360 £119.99
    4gb & Kinect £199.99

    250gb 360 £159.99
    250gb & kinect £239.99

Saw it in my local branch, Wednesfield in Wolverhampton but they didn't have the 250gb in stock. They didn't have any sort of display, just a couple of stickered boxes ( it's not a very big branch) and price on shelf so tried Cannock branch. The 250gb 360 box I picked up was priced at £199 but the assistant confirmed the offer price and showed me to the display unit with all the offers which I hadn't noticed. so, yes, I assume it's a national offer.

Just to update the Sainsburys offer, bought my 250GB 360console yesterday, deal still £159.99. Don't think this can be beaten anywhere atm.

Guy seemed to think offer was on for another week?

They also gave me 2 Sainsburys vouchers for:

£8 off Deus EX (360 and PS3) valid until 29/09/11

and £5 off Xbox Live gold 12 month Subscription valid until 5/10/11

Nothing wrong with my old xbox just fancied a new HD one to go with my new 42" HD TV. And with the glut of tasty new games coming out this autumn. At this price I couldn't resist plus, I can get some money back by selling off the old girl and all the accessories. Wonder how long it will take for the Mrs. to notice.

Argos will apparently be knocking out the Slim with a copy of Gears of War 3 for £149.99 for the 4 Gb version and £179.99 for the 250 Gb version. I assume it will be available once GoW launches next week - it's not on their website yet.

Assuming you can flog GoW for £30, that makes it £10 cheaper than the current Sainsbos offer.

The Sainos offer has finished, my local never had one when I tried - despite having a box on the shelf the first time.:thumbsdow

The Argos offer was visible early this morning, then it was gone. The shown date for the end of the offer on the 250gb for £180 was 19/09, the shown end date for GoW 3 free was 28/09 - maybe someone realised that this did not really work as the game does not officially launch until the 20th?

Not sure if this is a good price. Looking for a new slim and not bothered about the HDD as I'll transfer it from my old bust 360.

Argos doing 360 4GB slim with gears of war for free for £150. I can then trade GOW for £30 making the console £120.

the argos deal for the 250gb slim is £199 with gears of war. the £179 offer ended midnight last night and didn't include gears. I tried to use my £179 reservation today but they would not budge and charged £199.

shopto.net do next day delivery on the 250gb for £167 if you don't need Gears.

HMV Belfast are doing 250gb Slim & standard copy of gears for £189.99 which seems to be the cheapest at the moment, think its on till 28th September.

I was looking myself then ended up going for the limited edition Gears console and I must say it looks fantastic! though £269.99 is pricey.

Looking to spend £150 maximum. Will consider a second-hand console.

So, does anyone know where I can pick one up in that price range? Gamestation, perhaps?

Argos are doing slim 4GB with gears of war 3 for £150.

Ok if you don't need a HDD and want to pick it up in a retail shop.

Costco price was £138.99 plus VAT yesterday (24/09/2011) for the 250gb.

They had both matte and gloss for the same price in the display cabinet.
