I have just received this printer today and I must say it is a belter :smashin:

Hooked up via USB and followed all instructions and got it working perfect.

My problem starts when I unplug the USB...........

I have followed all instructions, installed all the software but the printer still appears as "offline"

Is there a simple way to make it online

Running Snow Leopard, but reviews on Amazon lead me to believe that it works perfectly?

    Any help appreciated

When I set mine up to work wirelessly with my MBP I didn't use any cabling at all - this was following the instructions in the manual. It was approx. 4 weeks ago and using Snow Leopard. What I did have to do was go online for the latest printer driver for the MP640. I'm at work at the moment so can't give you details of the file but it might be worth a search on the Canon site.
