Just got back from Dum Dum Girls gig at ULU. Brilliant night, they just get better and better every time I see them. Support was Veronica Falls, very impressed.:clap:

Nice Venue as well, sound has always been good for all the gigs I've seen there.

What a concert that was!!!!! Big fan of all three bands and got to meet TOAD. Asked if they were coming back to the UK again, to the smaller venues (due to them only having 1/2 an hour this time) and they're back in Feb at the newly refurbed HMV Ritz in Manchester. That's 2 concerts now in feb within a fortnight of each other, this and Shinedown/Halestorm at the Academy.

Well I've just been informed that I'm going to Manchester academy on Friday to go to the defenders of the faith tour.

Line-up is Trivium, In Flames (special guests), Ghost, Rise to Remain and one more that I can't remember. If I'm completely honest I'm only really bothered about Trivium and In Flames. Hopefully it'll be amazing! :D

    BRUUUUCE

    Major tour next year.
With the tragedy affecting the band I didn't think I would see the E-Street Band again. Looking forward to seeing the greatest live band ever - again

Totally stunning concert!!!!!!!! We really loved Black Stone Cherry as well and none of the 4 of us (my wife, her cousin and husband or me) even knew who they were until a few days before the concert.Alter Bridge were even better than I could have hoped - performance of Blackbird was immense. We didnt see the first band on though as we didnt get there until 8pm.

I went to Manchester last week. Unsurprisingly In Flames stole the show for me, they could have played a bit more old stuff though. Trivium were average but Rise To Remain were surprisingly good, enjoyed their set. Ghost however were weird and camp as hell, musically they were alright but I'll be honest I didn't really 'get' them? The crowd mostly looked confused and a bit bored while they were onstage.

Ghost at Manchester Academy 3/12/12 :

Anyway, had fun. Have a good night mate.

I went to Manchester too. Agree with the Ghost statement. Very odd. In Flames were as always amazing! Rise to Remain? For me they were very Meh. As for Trivium I was really impressed with them. I don't think we're as good as In Flames but not far off

Going to see Archers of Loaf on Sunday. I go to gigs on a very regular basis but I'm still
pretty excited for this one. Also seeing Leatherface tomorrow night if anyone knows them but I suspect not too many of you do!
