    1. The part you see is plastic.
    2. The part you see is roughly 1cm wide.
    3. The sticky-out bit on the right is the same size and shape as the hole to the left of it.
    4. You wear it, but not really out of choice.

    Something to do with a teeth retainer/braces?
    Some form of breathing apparatus?
    Is it medical?

    None of those things. And no, it isn't medical.

    1. The part you see is plastic.
    2. The part you see is roughly 1cm wide.

    5. The object has two of the part you see on it.

    I think I know what you're thinking in theses guesses, and if you tell me what part of those objects you think it is, I could confirm or deny that it is one of those.

    And to Kyle,
    Yes it's fairly common. You've probably worn one at some point. But it might not have had a prt quite like this on it.

    Another clue from that: I work in an office/lab.


    And no, not safety glasses.
