Me and a few of my tog friends have been engaging in various tasks since the turn of the year and mine was a photo a week for a year. One of em drew a 365 so I got lucky really.!

Should be easy peezy but I'm lazy git so lets see how long it is before I start getting behind. :D

Anyhow here are the first 8 weeks of the year and I'll update as I snap em and I'll try to keep the themes and subject as varied as possible.

Also apologies if you have seen these before as I have posted a couple of them in other threads.

That's a very nice shot and good idea. One thing I'd change though is the background. It's just too busy and distracting for me. I hope you don't mind a bit of criticism :)

Of course not, by all means crit away :smashin:

The background is the reason I've de-saturated it and left the strawberry red.

Not having any off camera flash I couldn't get the ISO below 1600 at the shutter speed I wanted indoors so my only choice was the back garden which is 100% graveled.

Photos like this would work better with an even background (black/white/whatever) or at least if you could make the subject brigther than the background (overhead light maybe, even if it's something like a flashilight/torch. If you plan to desaturate it the differneces in light temperature should not matter anyway), it would stand out more IMO.

All of this is just my opinion and I'm very, very far from being an expert :)

Lots of good ones but weeks 11 and 13 stand out for me, with froggy style just shading it.
