Does anyone know what happened to the running thread that used to be around a while ago? I recently decided to do something about my distinct lack of exercise and decided to take up running as it's quite cheap! May not have been the best timing as the winter is coming (cold & dark mornings/nights) so I'm just really looking for some ideas on how to get through it as I don't want to give up. My longest runs at the moment are about 3.5Km in about 22 minutes but at the moment I don't want to over do it so I'm building myself up! My initial goal is to get to 5Km without stopping with a time close to 30 minutes. Is that a respectful first goal or should I be pushing myself harder?
