    It's called the Olloclip. It's just a bolt on for smartphones. It's the one that FOB has been using for his iphone macro shots.

    I got my dads 100mm canon macro back yesterday too, so next time he wants to use it, I will just buy one. :)

    I'm trying to polish turd with this shot, but I haven't got many to play with until i take some more..

    The white bit it's on, is an umbrella pole at the pub this lunch time.

    You really should put some cream on that - looks very nasty - didn't by any chance use a "Ringflash" to take that ? :devil:

    I bought some sticky back velcro so I can attach some diffusers to the twin flash properly :)

    Really seeing the benefit of that 5D II Dan. Gorgeous close ups.....stunning detail...24MP sure paying off

    And point of order ref flies. I rescue all flies in peril.....regardless of creed, colour or religion....just wanted to say that.

    Very good indeed :), I myself have got myself a new toy i got my Canon 100mm macro yesterday :D typical the weather isnt to good today :mad:
    I was wondering if i should put a UV filter on the lens or not to bother and if so what are the preferd ones.

    Panasonic LX5 Macro mode is looking good - once you know how to turn it on that is :facepalm:

    How does the macro mode compare to the TZ?

    Could you post the same shot of something taken at minimum distance with each camera so we can compare? :smashin: and then maybe one with the macro zoom mode x3 on the TZ and one with the super macro mode on the XZ-1? That would be very interesting, to see the difference in macro distance and also in image quality :)
