This is truly my biggest bug bear and anyone who knows me knows how much I go on about this. Seeing a bus and where the number and destination should be it has the text:

    Sorry I'M not in service.

I have serious problems with the "I'M" in that setence. I am not normally a stickler for these things but the bus driver is clearly in service or working as he is driving the bus somewhere. The bus is not a person... Grrrrrr!!!

lol yeah i saw one "do not bend - photos" folded in half on my doormat the other day. For my neighbour, not me luckily.

a lot of things annoy me but to keep things light... it annoys me how much toilet paper women use! By myself, a 4 pack will last months but with a woman in the equation, a 16 pack is gone in a couple of weeks!

I've got another. The plastic wrap they put on DVD/CD cases. Why don't all of them come with the tear around strip, so i can access it easier. Why do i have to spend 5 minutes of my time picking at the end to try to get a piece big enough that will then easily tear open the packaging and allow me access to what is inside?

Rigid Blister packs are worse, you can cut your finger and always leave the instructions inside, and you can't return the item after opening.

We have had this argument in our house many times...

To top it off she uses so much bog roll that she frequently blocks the toilet. (At least that's her excuse). But she's only little so I don't think it's massive poos.:rolleyes:

yep, i feel your pain! Once had to get Dyno Rod out because the toilet was completely blocked and it turned out that over time, toilet paper had built up and built up in the outlet pipe and then set, until it was completely filled up. Caused a right mess that did! They needed to flush the pipe, which they did by cutting a section out of it, which just so happened to be in our downstairs neighbour's house, cue a flood of unthinkable mess all over her floor which he started mopping up with her tea towels!

I have the feeling there is a correlation between who has to unblock the toilets and who uses too much paper and blocks it.

In our house it goes the opposite way.

I actually made her show me once how much she uses.

(Not that I went into the loo with her while she pooped that is, I just handed her a roll of paper while she was sitting on the couch and asked her to show me how much she uses).

    Unbelievable.

Justin Beeber haircuts.. (Actually I'd go as far as to say Justin Beeber himself)!

Oh and these half wits who can't buy a pair of jeans that fit them and walk around with them half way down their hips with their boxers and ass crack showing, not to mention the huge baggy flap between their legs!! Just looks horrendous.

There is nothing irrational about an annoyance with Justin Bieber, its actually very rational!

People who use a mobile phone by putting it on speaker and holding it out flat in front of their face while having shout into it.

What the hell is that all about, I just don't understand.

It's people who have a concern about putting a strong RF generator close to their brain. The fact that your mobile can communicate with a mast a mile away doesn't seem to play any part with the logic that holding it a few inches away will not make that much difference!

Great thread.....totally agree with the phone thing and overuse of the word awesome.

    Here are mine:

Restaurants which serve butter so cold it won't spread. We can put a man on the moon but don't have the intillegence to serve butter at a spreadable temperature which won't claw your bread up.

People who say 'can I get', seemingly as if they've suddenly become all American and, like, cool. This closely relates to my third annoyance below.

People who have attempted to emulate their lifestyle with that of their favorite TV Show. Examples of such TV's shows include Friends ('can I get' a cawfeee? whilst in their local Starbucks....) or The Only Way Is Essex (suddenly the person has become all 'geezer' or, if female, *must* have everything in pink to over emphasise their girlyness around 'da fellas, innit').

People who after 2 hours of being at work have to get on thier phone to their partner who they haven't seen for....ooooohhhhhh....all of 2 flippin hours! A girl in my office does this EVERY day like clockwork and it drives me nuts!

Driver's who, when turning into a clear junction, simply have to slow down to a f<radio/edit>'ing standstill so that you do too.

Following from the above, drivers who drive slow yet they get thorugh the green light (or roundabout) whilst their pathetic speed has shafted you with having to stop as the light turns amber or a car comes round the roundabout. This is known as getting 'Toombstoned'.

    Loud people, period.

I'll think of some more later lol

Drivers who stick to 40mph out in the country where there is no opportunity to overtake and then the sods maintain that speed when passing through small towns/villages where the limit is clearly 30 or 20:facepalm:

    O.k. Maybe that is rational.
