hey guys- i know most threads start like this but i have been frequenting the gallery section of this forum for several years now, probably several times a day. i am pretty obsessed with home setups- don't ask me why, but there is something very cool and also quite personal about seeing how people set their homes up.

that being said, i think it is time to air my setup. i have recently moved into my first place- a relatively average 2 bed apartment with a decent but not amazing layout. tech-wise its definately not home cinema, not a sub or surround speaker to be found. instead i am a 2 channel man and very keen music lover (once a reviewer too).

my style (i think/hope) is clean, funky and playful. a plush pop-art type setting with plenty of music references. many thanks for looking

Nice to see new interesting setups.

guys, many many thanks for the nice feedback. i'm very glad you like it. :smashin:

@ kpnuts81- having the speakers at either end of the bed is my favourite element. i know i can't get away with it forever but for now it is great blasting music on a hazy sunday morning.

thanks Mr K. the clock does get alot of attention. it is the qlocktwo by beigert&funk and yes it is available in a plethora of colours. the colour faceplates are magnetic so you can buy others to change the colour of the clock if required.

qlocktwo also make a smaller version, the qlocktwo touch which is for use as a bedside clock but is too small imo. they also have a ipod app as well.

hi cymruoasis. the tv is a 50" panasonic 3d. in hindsight, it is pretty damn massive. i am 8.5ft away instead of the recommended 11-12ft so strictly 1080p only. i should really have got a 46" but with the lights off, it is total immersion

Excellent, the style is great! One thing that I really liked was the way that you matched the wood finish of the speakers and the TV stand in your living room - very nicely done!

Hey Daddy k , I had little chuckle to myself when I saw you pop up on this thread. This is right up your street ! An almost fully white home. You must be going into overdrive now with your new house. :)

I love your place. It's very clean and neat and the furnishings are spot on. I wish there was some kind of 'Peoples Homes Tours', as this is def. one place I would visit.

I'd like to think that if I ever became a bachelor, this is kind of how my place would end up (don't let the missus see that...)

/\ Living Etc magazine do 'peoples homes tours' (mostly in London).

Wow, lots of CDs. I know people with that amount of vinyl, but nobody with that many CDs!

dont get the keys till friday
then its boring stuff like painting every wall in house from brand new "magnolia" which some people say is white but its not! its yellow in my books, and paint it white, lay speaker cables around before carpet fitters come monday, then the all important sky install tuesday and then move in wednesday.

i want gloss white floor and walls, but for now due to budget or rather lack of im only going to do the tv wall in gloss white...................somehow.

anyhow ill leave this discussion to this beautiful setup not mine.

ps if your units were white it would probably be my perfect setup

All your rooms are spot-on. I see several things I have in my apartment and several things I lust after - like the B&O phone!

I think your square white shelves in the living room work particularly well. And you have more CDs than a branch of HMV :D

Like you I read this forum so many times a week. I think I`m kind of addicted, but it`s a great place for ideas and inspiration. You really have got a lovely "pad" it looks great and I would aspire to something like that style if I were a batchelor boy!

The kid in me really likes your Stormtrooper, may I ask where you got him from?

Once again a really nice place you have there
