Damon confirms fourth Bourne movie - Yahoo! News UK
Made my day
Its a original script and not from the books ? Is that just Robert Ludlum books ?
Remember you have all these also by Eric Van Lustbader.
The Bourne Legacy
The Bourne Betrayal
The Bourne Sanction
The Bourne Deception
Oh count me in
I like Bourne films a lot but I don't think they need to do another. The last one tied up the story well.
I've got the third, and still not watched it yet. Had it ages.
3rd is excellent
and with a great ending too
like u it took me a while to actually get round to watching bourne
Agreed, loved the bit at Waterloo station.
I could definitely live without a third one, but I'll reserve judgement as I really enjoyed the first three, I don't want them to spoil it, by just churning out some load of rubbish just to cash in.

Im also 50/50 on this, I mean, look what happenned to Star Wars ...
And Indiana Jones...
Now, let's see, there seems to be a common denominator here, SW, IJ, both inolve George Lucas, so unless they sign up GL, to write or direct Bourne 4, we may just be ok
We're shafted if George decides to release 'Howard a new breed of Turkey (The Sequel)'.
Trapped in a world he never made, quite sums it up.
Warning though contains swearing !

Remember the guy interviewing her is her boyfriend.
Every time I buy a box set they release another one.
The problem with these movies is that they never know when to finish.
I enjoyed the Bourne movies , but another doesn't really interest me.
Well I love the Bourne movies, the are the best in breed, Bond can't compete.
They can shovel another 10 films as far as i'm concerned, although they can't do another CIA v Bourne thing, Bourne needs to take on someone with a cat and a nuclear missile.
the David Webb Retirement sounds like a catchy title.
We'll just have to see if they've managed to reach Bourne 23 in another 35 years time then won't we? Can't see it myself
This has always been said about Bond i.e. the fact they've knocked out 23 films or so makes them a continued winner, however, its like saying the sun newspaper has been around for god knows how long hence it must be quality journalism. There is the odd good Bond film (recently say Goldeneye or Casino Royale), the rest are average at best or just comfort blankets.
Bourne has wiped the floor with Bond, to the point where either Bond is trying to copy it (rooftop stunts and Bond against MI5 etc) or looking shabby by comparison when it doesn't, plus Bond can change but Bourne can't, or it is unlikely Bourne will convincing with another actor and a different personality.
We might not have Bourne 23, but we won't see Bond driving an invisible car or baddies with a nuke and a cat again. Bourne is the standard Bond will/is be/being measured by, and this is likely to be the case for a good few years yet.
Don't want to turn this threas into a whole Bourne vs Bond thing, I love them both.
I certainly don't think Bourne has wiped the floor with Bond though. Admittedly, there have been some, less than brilliant Bond movies, shall we say but the series wouldn't have endured so long, if it hadn't been any good. It's ability to move with the times manages to keep it up with the game.
Where can Bourne go from here? He's found out where he came from, avenged his wifes death and destroyed Treadstone/Blackbriar, so what next?
I don't agree Bond was copying Bourne, with rooftop stunts and Bond against MI5, after all, Bond went rogue way back in License to Kill and saying they copied Bourne with the rooftop chase, is like saying Bourne copied The French Connection, Bullet or Ronin with the car chases.
Howard was a class film, loads better than the tosh he has put out recently!!!
Well I watched the third today... I couldn't concentrate on it to be honest. I had no idea what was going on.. all I could see was Blue / Grey pallette p*****g me off. Hmmm that expletive got past the swear filter.. I had to fix it myself.
I wasn't very impressed with the Bourne ultimatum finding it sadly under exhilarating. Besides my complete disappointment with the third movie I would definitely like to see a 4th. Having said that they need to lose the shaky cameras, Bourne supremacy could have been an excellent film and it certainly didn't help the Bourne ultimatum, in my honest opinion.
I would certainly rather watch another Bourne film than another Bond Bourne rip-off.
Last two Bonds have been complete rubbish so I will always prefer a Bourne over them. I also like the shakey cam.
I have no problem with the shakey cam either.
I'd have to put Casino Royale easily into the top three Bond movies. QoS, I really enjoyed too. If you view those two as a complete entity, then I'd say Best Bond, period!
Casino Royale was great but I'm not so keen on QoS. I'm up for more Bourne, they could make ten and I'd buy every single one
I'm not a fan of sequels but unlike Bond's, Rambo's and Indiana Jones , the Bourne Films get's better and better”!
That's why the next edition will be very welcomed in my collection
And we know who started that first... Jackie Chan well before that french idiot claimed he invented parkor.
Paul Greengrass on his quitting Bourne 4.
