So it does exist!!! :O I now have to find one! Is it for sale?
Yea it does, I was getting more and more convinced that it didn't either! Not for sale unfortunately, been looking for it for too long
Same. I gave up looking for it, I genuinely thought it was just a myth. Even Barney thought it wasn't real last time I spoke to him about it!
Today Mr. Postman give me this Senna
Good to see this thread continuing.
Lion King, The
Apparently there is a slipcase for Fiddler on the Roof, any pics?
Here you go....
Was in HMV today and they had 'Bridesmaids' bluray which comes in a nice slipcover and a pink (!) bluray case...no slipcover for 'Panda Express 2' though
Retreat has a slipcover.
Apologies if these have been posted before, did not see on the master list.
Mimic is shiny metallic
Happy feet is embossed with raised real glitter snowflakes.
Thanks didn't realise mimic had a slip. Where do you pick it up from?
I think the Mimic slipcase is going to prove to be a rare one. Looked around town today and only found it in one store with slip. HMV at £14.99.
HMV Oxford circus had it, have since been to 4 other HMV's in London & did not see it, all slipless.
I didn't know either of these had slipcovers. Where is Happy Feet from and how much was it?
Ahh those of little faith when I posted the pic a while back, so it does exist
HMV Oxford Circus, £8
'Larry Crowne' has a nice slipcover...
Just fyi, UK release of 'Beginners' (Ewan McGregor) is a BD25 disc...bloody annoying as US websites listing US release as BD50...bit strange as both are Universal Pictures so I assumed it would be identical.
No slipcover either
Not strictly slipcover related but couldn't see a thread about it. Several recent releases I purchased came in Amaray cases which have squarer corners at the top. The most notable one's I purchased are the recent Momentum's with the top cut off slipcover releases of Lost in Translation and Requiem for a Dream. I keep all the Momentum's on the same shelf and they have up until now been nice and uniform. Just wondered if anyone knew if Amaray have revised the case design and this new squarer case will start to be the norm once the old stock runs out at the pressing plants.
Couple of new slipcovers for the list, added a comparison shot of the US and UK Requiem releases since I now own both and they appear to be identical.
Requiem for a Dream
Coen Brothers Collection, The: A Serious Man / Burn After Reading / The Big Lebowski / Barton Fink / Intolerable Cruelty
Do you think Bridesmaids will come with a slip from the main retailers? The wife wants it for xmas.
