    So far I've downloaded:

Windows Live Messenger (or whatever its called)
    ITN News
    Adobe Reader
    eBay
    Facebook
    Flashlight
    Tesco Groceries
    IMDb
    Level
    Speed Tester
    Twitter
    Weather Channel
    Yellow Pages (Beta)
    Youtube

All of them are free as none of the paid apps seem worth the cost (coming back from iOS/iPhone and the Appstore - spent way too much money on there in the last 18months lol)

Weatherbug is a decent app - added bonus is it incorporates a Live tile that will update the weather summary on the start screen.

Apart from that, I have the following so far:-

    ebay
    Facebook
    last.fm
Tesco Groceries (for the wife of course!)
ITN News - way better than BBC effort
LS24 3D Football - great for football scores (was free not sure now)
    Lyrics
    Messenger
    Shazam
    Twitter

Plus Flight Control, Flowerz, Hexic Rush and Unite games

Weatherbug I think is the first 3rd party app with a live tile so top marks for them. I would like them to match the metro theme a little more though.

I pretty much have the same apps as WhiteHartMart- tell me is the LS24 3D Football any good as its now £1.99 thinking I should probably wait a while as no doubt there will be many more.

Its pretty good but if you've come from an iPhone, iFooty it is not :p

Pretty much just a list of games being played (from several different leagues), tables and detailed match commentary (text based).

Haven't dug down to see what else it can do as keeping up to date with the progress of a match was enough for me as it was free.

I'll have a play with it later and post some more thoughts.

Anyone found any apps that can use the LED camera light as a torch?

Why on Earth are there so many "flashlight" apps which just turn the screen white??

This shows the apps in a browser which is currently not possible.
    Visual Search - Bing

Local Concerts is an interesting app which displays local concerts after scanning your music, though I can see myself spending more money!

This is my little game DaCapo - a variant of a classic memory game.
Obviously, it is not in the same “league” as a studio game, but I learned a lot while developing it.
If you have a minute please give it a try. I appreciate your feedback.
    Thank you!

Since I was still learning it took some nights and weekends but if it was now I would say 40-60h work. The artwork and sounds also take some time if you want to make them right.
I also faced some performance issues on real devices. I had to simplify some graphics and animations.
The overall experience was very positive.

You've probably heard about "Words With Friends" on iOS as being an amazing Scrabble-type game.
There are 2 similar games on WP7:
    - Spell It: Free (ad supported), up to 4 players online
    - AlphaJax: £2.49, 2 players, twitter and Facebook integration

Despite the price I would recommend AlphaJax which is much more polished and support social networks. The devs are working very hard on it and there are rumours that it might get updated as a Live title.
With people allowed up to a week to complete their turn, you might not want to get into a 4 players game so I'm not sure that's necessarily an argument for Spell It.
Both support simultaneous games, push notifications and both seem to be glitch free. (Spell It got an update recently to fix the issues I believe).
    Give them a go .

Edit: AlphaJax has been submitted for an update which brings full stats and a free ad supported version (that would be the trial). Update should be live soon.

Downloaded SpellIt, not too bad quite enjoying it so far.
I'm 'Stream62' on there too if anyone fancies a game

I'll hold off on Alphajax for a little bit and see if it turns up free.

I can confirm the next version of AlphaJax will support a free unlimited trial option with ads! Also, there's no reason to not download and start playing now as your trial will automatically get upgraded when the update comes out.

    Have fun!

Also Voice Bender - allows you to record a sound or your voice directly from your Windows Phone and change its playback with an amazing set of effects.
Unfortunately it is not free - but there is trial available and the full version - which let you to save changed recordings - is available for very little - .99 USD

Cheers both will download it later. I was assuming that there would only be one version but I don't mind paying for a version to get rid of the ads and support development

Alphajax good to see devs (I assume that's who you are:)) on the forums. Peew971 mentioned that you might be going to Xbox live in WP7, any news on that?
