    Me

Last 2 Nexus devices have been brilliant. I cant live without Vanilla Android, Vanilla ICS sounds the lick ;)

Some of the reaction on other websites state the above screen looks like printed word, I wouldnt go that far but it does look very nice indeed.

    Can

    Not

I was about to get the Samsung Galaxy S2, then I read the rumoured specs of the Prime and thought that'll be my next phone.

Eagerly awaiting the announcement next week now.

I think this will be the ideal replacement for my HTC Desire - looking forward to the reveal next week

Hopefully, this will be the proper successor for the Nexus One. Had mine for just under 2 years and been waiting for a phone that is a significant step up ... and my power button just went :D

A bit off topic but are we likely to see ICS on Nexus one?

What screen size is going to be too big for you guys?

Some talk the screen could be 4.6 inches or bigger! Although latest rumour is 4.2.

Can't help but think something around 4.6 limits the market too much.

LOL, I really thnk that'd be asking too much of the little guy. I dont think we're 100% confirmed to be getting ICS on the Nexus S, at least not straight away. I remember The NS coming out with Gingerbread straight off the bat and N1 taking a month or 2 before it got GB . . . . I would expect the same this time around too.

Also this is going to have a curved screen, therefore 4.65" will more likely look and feel more like a 4.3".

To be honest I'm still happy with my N1, and its probably the first phone that I'll keep as a backup instead of selling it on. However, being a gadget geek I'll struggle to persuade myself to take a sim only deal instead of upgrading!

In what ways was the 'Nexus S' a disappointment? I was a little put off by the move from HTC to Samsung, but only from past experience with Samsung phones.

Surely performance wise there isn't much between Nexus one and Nexus S is there?

How can you compare it to Apple's iPhone 4s when the specs haven't been released for the Prime yet?

minimum 4.2 inch screen is pretty much a given, that's the only spec you need to know in order to justify the statement.

Why? Some people prefer phones where the thumb can actually reach anywhere on the screen. 4.6" is ridiculous, might as well carry a tablet around.

You need to do some thumb excercises and get some strength into it! lol. Ok 4.6 maybe a tad excessive but 4 inch should be the absolute minimum for a smartphone heading into 2012 imo. It makes me wonder how long iPhone users will go on believing they only need a 3.5 inch screen.

You know, I didnt think there would be but its almost the same difference between them in speed as the Nexus S and Samsung Galaxy S 2. Basically it was worth the upgrade and I wish I got the NS sooner.

Either way, Im going to frickin pre-order the Nexus Prime unless they really fudge it up. HD Samoled curved screen is pretty much enough for me, ICS is a bonus as Im still loving gingerbread.

But we don't 'know' this for sure, so speculation alone doesn't justify the statement. I really hope that the screen isn't much bigger than 4inch, otherwise I'll need to update my wardrobe!
A 4inch screen, equal (or increased) internal spec to the iPhone and a lower price tag would seal the deal for me.

Doesn't the Nexus S have a concaved screen? I imagined the Prime to be similar aesthetically to the current Nexus, but larger with an improved internal spec.

not sure if it mentions it in that article, but some think it may be a phone that can also be used as the guts for a tablet.

But perhaps they are going to release a tablet aswell, or perhaps it just signifies the merging of the phone and tablet o/s with ICS
