Please be advised, all buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that the other party is genuine by providing the following via PM to each other after negotiations are complete and prior to dispatching goods and making payment:
    1) Landline telephone number. Make a call to check out the area code and number are correct too!
    2) Name and address including postcode
    3) Valid e-mail address (no disposable addresses such as @gmail or @yahoo for example).

DO NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It's in your best interest to check out these details yourself.
Also we advise that the vendor post images of the items for sale. This helps your sale by showing the condition of the goods prior to dispatch.

I have a key forWindows Professional 32 bit, I could get hold of a 64 bit version as well however if that's a necessity.

I'm selling for £50 as it cost me £70 to get and retails around that price also. 50 quid is a good deal considering it's an upgrade on Home Premium.

I know what they say, i'm not selling a pirate version. It comes in the original box, it's unopened and completely legitimate.

At the end of this sale, if it or any others go ahead, i'll be posting the item to the buyer. Not e-mailing them with a serial number.

I understand this is required, but at the same time this is the second thread i've had someone telling me I can't sell windows software, even though it meets all your guidelines.

I'm guessing you would do well to pick up a retail Win7 and SSD for less than about £100 so i'm offering you a whole working PC for an extra £150 :smashin:

Worth a shout, good luck with your serach ....

anTTony - Are you still looking for a Windows 7 licence? If so, I have a retail version of Windows 7 Home Premium - never used, still sealed in the factory shrink-wrap - which I can personally deliver to Derby, payment by cash on delivery. If you're interested, then please make me an offer.
    Regards, Rob

Yes interested mate. Think common practice states you have to name a price first. I can get one for around £71 new so please bear this in mind. Definitely interested though!

    Thanks, Antony

Me neither, to be honest was hoping you would know as it looked like you were building a pc.

Given that neither of us is to sure, blind leading the blind, it must be in both our interest not to proceeded.

I think it can be done because apparently that is the difference between OEM and retail, e.g retail can be transferred, but, as above, I don't know how it works

    Cheers anyway

If it's any help I've just bought and activated a used retail copy of Windows 7. You'll have to activate it using an automated phone service. It's simple and straight forward to use.

The retail version comes with 32 and 64 bit disks, can be installed onto different machines whenever you like as long as it only ever is installed on one machine at a time.

Thanks guys. I presume when I call Microsoft, I give them the original key so that the key will be de-activated on all prior computers...and then will only work on mine going forward?

Is the number to call in the box?

If that's all correct I'd like to offer £75 but on the condition that it can be definitely re-activated.

    Thanks
