Is this the same unit in an previous posting you stated you'd travelled 100miles with it laid flat? If so wont this have voided the warranty? I believe they have a tilt alarm inside and should always be kept vertical?

If this is true then how could they tell if the set was layed flat for just a repair and not transported this way?:smashin:

I'm also very curious about this supposed tilt alarm as I have never heard of one mentioned in years of owning Kuro's, do you have a link to prove this exists?

    Its not true!

Pioneer used to fit tilt indicators to the packing of the units to indicate if the unit had been shipped or stored flat. They stopped using them to cut costs in 2006.

It was perfectly acceptable to transport the screens flat in the original packing short distances, the tilt indicator was simply an indicator and only used for in house purposes up to dealers to prevent smashed glass. Transporting the screens flat out of packaging was not approved and was at customers risk.

Tilt indicator had nothing whatsoever to do with the end user warranty.

I`d have been intrested as you are local to me, but would be a pain trying to source a tabletop stand and under unit speaker which i`d need for using in tv only mode - if you had them would have been intrested but have a bump anyway!

I'm in no rush to sell mate but an offer nearer the asking price would get serious consideration ...

only reason i said offer of 1600 is because i would have to source a stand, speaker, which is going to cost approx £400.00. to be fair these t.vs are only sold at approx £2000.00 max complete. due to the panasonic vt30 range. people are selling because of 3D. im quiet far away but im not bothered about the fuel as i think thats a cost u cant put on top to try knock price down, ive sent you a private message with my contact details if your intrested in making a deal give me ring. i can see you have alot of people that have viewed your page but im a serious buyer!

Not serious enough to read the trading rules, though?

All comms to remain on thread, until a deal is reached

My best offer is £1600 and that is my final offer, just been looking throw some of the other deals that have gone throw, A krp 600 sold not long ago for £2000.00 all complete only thing missing was the stand. i no the t.v may be worth more to you but on the market its not worth more than £1600.00. if it was complete with speaker and stand i would have paid £2000 but then you would probably want £3000 lol
