So do we know if it's the same panel used in both the 6710 and 6800? Anyone know the input lag on these sets?

I've just installed my UE55ES6800. A couple of questions, can anyone let me know the best picture settings (i.e. the level to set brightness, etc. etc.) and also does this model have the ability to light up the samsung logo in the bottom centre of the frame? i've seen pictures where this appears to be the case, but cannot find the option in the menus.

Quick question does the TV packaging has a handle or something so that I can carry it to the nearest busstop ?

    Hello

Got my unit . Initial feedback is that the tv is great but I am facing some problem with clouding. Will loosening the backpanel and wiping the screen with a cloth (centre to the edges) help ?

put some pics up, as some clouding will clear after around 100hrs of viewing

it just depends on how bad it is

cool yeah, it shall be interesting, most of, actually all of my clouding has gone now it started to clear up at around 100hrs useage I think these TV's need running in time. I'll compare it to how bad mine was at first, All i have now is slight light bleed in rhs bottom corner which again appears to be improving over time

Why is it that when I playback a movie using the all share feature the movie looks more like a tv series. However when i play the same using my wd tv gen1 it looks entirely different and like a proper movie ..

I hope this made sense :)

I agree with the samsung apps but I think the browser is terrific ! I played 1080p you tube videos from the browser and they all played wonderfully !! I suggest you plug in a wireless usb mouse and then try and surf. I currently use my mouse to surf and my android phone to type web address etc ! As per my needs it is good enough !

Hi I no a couple of you on here already own the new ue40es6800 but my question is why have Samsung done away with the shinney screen finish on the new 6 range led,s .. It seem they have left off the Ultra Clear Panel .. Last years 6 series models all come with this screen .. I went to my local currys and looked at the es7000 and es6800 and noticed the screen straight away .. The es6800 screen has a matt effect .. It seem on the 8&7 series only have the ultra clear panel ?????

Iv been on Samsung site and it confirms that 6 series hase no ultra clear panel how does this effect tv quality .
I was going to get the 6800 but been put off buy the screen just wondering to the people who have got this model compaie to the ultra clear panel ... All previews models in the 6 series c & d all hade this panel why change .. I don't want to but the es7000 as I would not use the cam etc and paying a premium for it ... Thanks Chris

I had this on my es6300 for a couple weeks. completely unusable. No problems with other devices on the network but i switched channels on the router and forced it to use 'G' only. since doing this everything has been fine
