I think what Mark Uk says above in this thread (post dated 20-12-2011, 4:00 PM ) is that he has used an HDD with recorded material in a different TV than the one he used to record it (although I suppose both of them are Vieras). On the other hand, yesterday I transfered a copy of the files from my HDD to my PC, and there's a new file called loop.tts. This file is not like the other .tts, in the sense that the other ones come with a set of .aid, .vid and .dat files... or in other words: this one is the live recording that lets you stop/pause/rewind live TV. The interesting part is that the TV can play that file without the .aid, .vid and .dat files. Regards.
