Today, I took my vintage Schneider-Kreuznach Retina Tele Arton 85/4 for a walk through our ice-cold village (-9°C).
This is what I brought home !

The Grey Heron looks very hungry now, I'm sure he will be glad when the ice will have disappeared ...

glad to read your message, Mark ! How do you do ?

The second image is in fact processed in NIK HDR Efex, from 5 RAW shots at -2/-1/0/+1/+2 stops exposure. It was a bit tricky, because the bird moved a little, so I had to pay extra care to the ghost reduction. But NIK HDR Efex came out with a good result. I'm glad you like it !

Here's a B/W conversion of a shot from my Sunday morning walk.
It is the first time I used the "context sensitive" features of PS.
    Works really well !

    And here's a Eurasion Jay.
I see them quite often, but rarely have a chance of shooting a pic because they are very shy in my garden.

A "new" lens arrived yesterday, new is all relative, because it is a vintage Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 20/4 in Exakta mount.
Although the weather is crappy and wet, I made a few first shots in the garden,
just to check if everything is OK with the lens. It is !
This lens also focuses very close (15 cm), so will be good for flowers later in spring

Yesterday, I went for a walk in the National Botanical Garden in Meise,
    not far away from Brussels.
    It's an immense park : 97 ha !

I did the 'winter walk' they are proposing until end of March, and I visited the greenhouse, a beauty on its own !

I shot a lot of pictures, and I'll share some with you !

    Equipment : GH2 with 7-14, 14-45 and 45-200 together with the Micro-Nikkor 105/2.8

WARNING : EXTENSIVE USE OF HDR, look at your own risk !

Lets start with a few buildings in the park :D

Good to see this thread is going strong. Great shots as ever.

I have now joined the micro 4/3rds club. My trusty work compact died the other day and instead of just buying another compact I thought I would pay the extra and get a GX1. Jessops had a decent price of £450 with the non-power zoom kit lens and so I went for that. Have read so many blurry image issues with the 14-42 PZ that I am probably better off avoiding that one!

I'm hoping that the GX1 will serve as a good back-up to my main DSLR which sadly is not getting as much use as it should.

I am on the look-out for a 14mm F2.5 mainly for work photos and landscape stuff when I'm out and about, and it will make the camera much more jacket pocketable . If anyone comes across a 14mm F2.5 for sale on another site can they please send me a quick PM, thanks (I have 'wanteds' up on AVF and TP already).
