I've also ordered the flight IMAX disc, watched the Hubble and space station ones and they are excellent :)
Shame Avatar isn't available on 3D yet!

Anybody seen Tron Legacy 3D? I have the 2D version and can watching again and again.

Just coming up to 10 hours use.... no issues so far.

    Riz :)

I thought Tron Legacy was quite poor for 3D

Although I do have an Acer 5360bd so draw your own conclusions

Look on the bright side, at least it's only a couple of days until you get your new one. I thought you might be without one for weeks.

And if you want me to baby sit that copy of Hugo for now I'm happy to offer my services!!

Bad review of Hugo 3D on Blu-Ray.com, says it suffers from severe crosstalk

Just read it, it still says its worth watching in 3D. It's the LCD owners I feel for as soon as i read crosstalk lol. Thank god for DLP.

I am starting to notice some crosstalk only on bright blue text on black

The start of puss in boots dream works logo and on menu of transformers 3 but on the main films it's fine

I can manipulate my rf glasses to induce crosstalk but normally I don't see it, its only if I hold the glasses in a funny way. Dlp is just so nice for 3d, I've been reading about people with the Panasonic projectors having an awful time with crosstalk, thank the lord for dlp

Update: a courier collected my poorly PJ today. If anyone has a problem I recommend phoning Optoma support rather than emailing, they will email you an RMA request form within a few minutes which you can fill in and email back to them. They phoned me the next day with the RMA number and the day after that (today) it was collected. Very efficient, thanks Optoma. :)

Still gutted to be without it though :(.

No, but I'm guessing a couple of weeks. I'm wondering whether the bulb took issue with the power being pulled. It was running in bright mode (the polar express 3D to be precise). It might just need a new bulb and the obligatory firmware update (was CO3).

I was thinking that if ever the power has to be disconnected while running, it might be worth blowing air through the PJ, eg with a vacuum cleaner. Or is that a daft idea .

I have an Infocus pj you could borrow in the meantime but I'm not sure your optic nerves could cope with the 800x600 resolution

If i pulled the power lead out of any of my kit i would be asking for trouble but like you said if it locks up you aint got a choice.

Didnt it just freeze up some i think you had a fault before you pulled the plug

did you try to turn it off at the back of the projector?

Has Anybody had a problem when watching Bluray 3d from PC, with the projector going into 3D mode?

The issue I have is that when I go to watch it using power dvd, the screen will flicker to go to 3D mode, I can hear the fan speed up, It then slows down again and the screen flickers again, It will then speed up again, slow down, speed up and never work so I shut every thing down.

So basically it keeps attempting to go to 3D
Other times it works and comes on after 1 speed up, and some times 2.

My concern is, this can not be doing the bulb any good right?

    I have PC -> Onkyo 609 -> HD33

I need to test removing amp in case this is the culprit, but this will be time consuming due to the way cables are routed.

First i thought see if anyone else has had a issue using PC for 3D Bluray or Iso.

    Thanks
