Great news its back
Following the excellent news that Not Going Out is coming back for another series, even better news has emerged:
Miranda 'Ooh I've dropped something, aren't I hilarious?' Hart is too busy to return!
The joker in Lee Mack - Times Online
Episode 8: Absent Father Christmas - 8.5/10
Better late than never just got round to watching this episode with..
Bobby Ball as Lee's old man
Hopefully we will see series 4 by end of the year.
What took you so long?
Just forgot about it, and you know those too watch lists?, well it went to the bottom. (using the word 'lists' instead of piles)
It's back this Thursday
- BBC - BBC One Programmes - Not Going Out: Series 4
Stop it, now your spoiling us
Great to see this back.
Must remeber to set the recorder for this in the morning, was hoping for the Christmas one to be repeated, but alas
I am hoping for a return to the quality of the 1st series, it was far funnier with the trade of between british and american culture than stupid cleaner woman breaking the humor of the most recent series.
Well, at least Miranda Hart won't be there, so that's a massive plus.
i dont mind Miranda, she was part of the setup
Nether do I, I hated her at first but like her now and think some of the dialogue with her and Lee are more funny than the ones with Lucy.
Same here, she had some very good lines.
I see dad people
comes to mind.
her character did annoy me, much better in her own show, and that Ruth Jones' Christmas Cracker show the other week, in which she was a guest, was a rather cringeworthy programme to be part of
does this mean more of Tim's special needs girlfriend?
I'd imagine so. If so let's hope they develop her.
Dave are currently re-running the 1st series of Not Going Out.
Ah, good to hear this is back, love the banter of this show. My wife hates it, but look past the perceived corny Sitcom and its a little gem
I didn't care for the first series but it's been brilliant since the second.
Excellent first episode tonight
By it's own very high standards I was a little disappointed with this one but there were serveral laugh aloud moments. A solid start.
Lots of laughs for me, liked the Narnia and Waitrose references
Very funny first episode liked the joke about what Tim looked like in the coat, and why he was crying in the car. More good laughs in this in 1 min than most comedies do in 30 of them.
Yes, this is one show where you ignore the "plot" and enjoy the gags!
Fantastic show last night Lee Mack was brilliant just my sort of humor
I bet all of us (of a certain age) knew Tim was going on about Zammo
Best line for me ... it's like watching an episode of The Wire featuring Derek Nimmo
Indeed a great line.
The Railway Children......long pause.......i meant Trainspotting
I sat there churning "The Railway Children" in my head trying to figure out what the hell she was on about. When she walked back into shot and said "I meant Trainspotting" I fell off my chair!
Not missing Miranda Hart's Barbara character at all. Unfortunately she was a very one dimensional character so its probably for the best she's been written out.
