Am looking to get a new gas cooker i seen this thing saying not FSD compliant.

I didn't know what it was lucky i looked because it means it can't be fitted in flats apparently its been in place since 2008 gas cookers in flats have to be fitted with this FSD.

Now I don't think i live in a flat although there is someone above me its a house i live in hahaha

Do you think i would get away with buying a none FSD cooker and getting it fitted?

Reason i am wondering the ones that are FSD are a lot more expensive

You have to have a FSD now in any "multi-dwelling building", so sounds like you do need to have one.
You won't be able to get away without it as any CORGI registered fitter will simply refuse to fit it in your house because it is against the law for them to do so.

    Hope this helps!
