I want to distribute the HD signal from Sky and PS3 around my home, I have been 'following' all the wireless HD senders and also considering going HDMI over Cat5. My current set up is - Sky 1TB box optical and HDMI to Yamaha Amp Fat PS3 to TV, optical audio to Yamaha Amp What I would like is - Sky HDMI video and audio to two TV's upstairs PS3 HDMI video and audio to one TV upstairs in addition to the downstairs set up. Of course I would need some kind of active splitter and a switcher so that I can choose between Sky or PS3 on one of the upstairs TV. Looking at doing this with wireless HDMI senders would mean at least 2 pairs, plus a splitter (or two). That's going to cost a lot, so maybe some kind of HDMI over Cat5 would be the cheaper alternative. In addition to this I would want to be able to change the Sky channel from either of the two upstairs TV's. At the moment I have Sky on one upstairs TV using RF2. Has anyone else been through this kind of decision - there seems to be a lot of components/options to look at. TIA.
