This is my rather very modest setup. Mind you that this is the rented flat and my second attempt in the home cinema world.

Excuse the picture quality...this is my recent build.

As you can see, the middle speaker needs painting. Other than that, I'm really pleased. Just waiting on my preordered boxee box :) oh, and I have rope light around the floating wall...not shown here though.

This isn't the sexiest of pictures, but what the hell?!

I just thought I'd show you the connectivity chart for my up-to-date set-up including the kids' game systems and the brilliant new PVR.

It might seem straightforward but the conduits behind the wall are like NASA, and when you add in the power cables and speaker wiring, it's a canny frustrating set-up.

Pleasingly, I do manage to conceal every cable - bar the wires for the floorstanders! Below is the set-up before the recent additions. HDMI, optical, scart etc simply get fed in through a tidy port behind the stand, go up inside the wall (removable panel in cupboard under stairs) and out behind the TV.

Incidentally, the Spotify feed comes down from my office PC upstairs. I don't like having computers knocking around when there's partying to be done!

    Here is my current setup...

    TV - Samsung PS-50A556S2F 50 inch Plasma
    AV Amp - Sony STR-DA2400ES
    BluRay Player - Sony BDPS350
Sky HD - Sky+HD 1TB box (lovely piece of kit)
    HTPC - Windows 7
    Wii
    iPod dock - Onkyo DS-A3
Front speakers - KEF Q30 (Bit old now but cracking speakers)
Rear speakers - Tangent evo 4
    Cente speaker - Mission M7C1
    Sub - Tannoy efx sub
Harmony One Remote (Amazing little thing!)

The random grey cable isnt part of the setup, that is there because I was building a PC for my mate and my router is behind my stand.

You can't really see because they are hidden behind the vase and the iPod dock but I even changed my extensions to have black plugs and cables so they didnt stand out.

My next plan is to change the stand to a nice gloss black cabinet and then its the HD projector!
