if your firmware is above 3.15 the double ok doesn't work anymore.
you will have to downgrade to 3.15.

HOW TO DOWNGRADE FIRMWARE AND ACTIVATE THE USB

    DOWNGRADE (read first)

ok , create a folder on your USB stick called LG_DTV and put the 3.15 firmware in that folder (dont put another folder in the folder just the firmware itself) and Insert USB stick into TV, (if it doesnt read it automatically) then press MENU and choose OPTION (but dont press OK) but press the FAV button 7 TIMES to get upgrade screen on and choose firmware to upgrade / OK.... - failing that, repeat but press '7' 7 times instead of 'fav' which will get the basic upgrade screen on
    - downgrade the firmware and restart TV

    ACTIVATE USB
hold down OK on remote and OK on the TV for about 5 secs (be sure to point remote at TV) then it will ask for password - press 0000 and it will take you into service menu = go to no. 2. TOOLS OPTION 3 and change JPEG to 1 and DIVX to HD (dont change ANYTHING else or you will break TV and NO bluetooth doesnt work unless your TV comes with it)

    UPGRADE

following the downgrade guide but put the 3.40 firmware into the LG_DTV folder (deleting the old one) and insert into TV and upgrade, as the firmware is newer than in the TV it may read the USB stick without having to press FAV or 7 seven times...

I think I just made a disaster

    Today I bought a LG 32LH3000

    I had the softwear V3.48.00

I did exactly what you said: downgrade at 3.15 and after that I upgraded my LCD at 3.40

I mention that immediately I downgrade the soft version I lost the colors...I belive that in this moment I have 64  !!! and in stand by mode it show me the message: "Not programmed"

I need help immediately please :lease:

I get that on my 50PS8000 when I go to a DTV channel, because I haven't tuned them, so I don't think it is an issue.

Dunno about the colors thing tho.

I am sorry to tell you this but you bicked your TV.

If you read the thread and the wiki it states explicitly to not downgrade if you have version 3.48 as it will brick your TV.

You need to send the TV back to repair it. Nothing you can do.

Insists that need to access the service menu without changing the firmware and found a post very interesting:

    Hi,

Short translation from this forum: LCD TV LG LH2000/LH3000/LH4000/LF2510 (uključivanje DivX podrške) - Strana 15 - BENCHforum

Poster there has LG 32LH3000 with originally installed firmware v3.24. He also has Philips universal remote SRU7140, where four digit code is needed to be entered to control particular TV brand/model. In this case, he used code 0119. After that, by pushing INFO button on Philips remote, he gets prompt for four digit password code on LG TV, to enter into service mode.
After password prompt shows, he then uses original LG remote for entering 0000 and changing options there.

I assume, this should work for more recent firmwares too (3.40, 3.47/8...).
I hope, this info has some value for LG LH owners.

    Greetings,
    Bogdan

Please check this code with your any universal remote and try enter in service menu using buttons like GUIDE or INFO.
Then use LG TV original remote and change ONLY parameters described in tutorial.
Please write here your results too.

    Regards

Today I've downgraded from 3.40 to 3.15 and I can play from USB but now there is no sound, even when I'm watching regular TV program (IPTV). I can't get sound from USB files either, Now I'm back on 3.40 and problem is still there, in settings I didn't change nothing else only what was needed.

I try to use restore function (7x9) but nothing happens, still no sound. I tried connecting headphones and they are working perfect.
In AUDIO menu I have everything enabled and set to highest, what could that be?

Can I try with USB deactivation option under USB menu?

    It is 37LH3000.

I hope you could help me.

why dont you flash from v3.15 to v3.55 you will keep the usb playback feature, and it might fix your audio problem.

make certain your tv is compatible first though, in the FAQ below.
